This year’s Victorian State Schools Spectacular soars to new heights with On Air – a dazzling celebration of talent, energy and imagination from students across Victoria.

For 30 years, this beloved event has captivated audiences with its powerful blend of song, dance, and circus, brought to life through spectacular lighting, vibrant costumes, and a live 75-piece orchestra.

More than a performance, On Air lets dreams take flight, friendships shine, and every young voice stand proud on stage.

Important Event Information

There are several options for your journey to John Cain Arena:
- Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.
- Parking is sold out at the Eastern Plaza Car Park. Only pre-booked parking will be accepted. Find other parking options here.
  - Note: Accessible parking must be pre-booked via Ticketek. We strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. 
To ensure a smooth entry into the venue, download your tickets to your digital wallet before arriving.
Bags must be A4 size or smaller, and larger bags are not permitted.
Cloaking is available via the Information Desk (Gates 6 and 8). Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking.
All retail outlets are cashless. Any transactions must be made using a credit or debit card.

The Victorian State Schools Spectacular showcases the extraordinary talent of students from government schools across Victoria. Each year, more than 3,000 young performers and crew unite to deliver a world-class production filled with music, dance, circus arts and technical theatre.

For over 30 years, the Spectacular has given students the chance to perform on a professional stage, build confidence and form lasting friendships. From powerful vocal performances to dazzling choreography and behind-the-scenes excellence, the show celebrates creativity, diversity and collaboration in public education.
