TAEYANG’s solo concert ‘TAEYANG 2024 TOUR [THE LIGHT YEAR]’ will embark on Melbourne for the first time this November, and marks the
K-pop star’s first solo tour in over seven years.
As an ‘all-rounder’ artist who has demonstrated diverse talents, TAEYANG is expected to deliver an explosive and innovative stage performance throughout this tour, capturing the attention of fans and listeners both domestically and internationally.

Important Event Information
- There are several options for your journey to John Cain Arena:
- Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.
- Parking is available at the Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard). We strongly recommend pre-booking; drive-up spaces are subject to availability. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event.
- Note: Accessible parking must be pre-booked via Ticketek.
- To ensure a smooth entry into the venue, download your tickets to your Digital Wallet.
- Bags must be A4 size or smaller. Larger bags are not permitted.
- Cloaking is available via the Information Desk (Gate 6 & 8). Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking.
- All retail outlets are cashless. Any transactions must be made using a credit or debit card.
- Merchandise will be available for purchase on event day from 2:00pm at Gate 6 (via Olympic Boulevard), and from 6:00pm via all internal outlets. Please note that stock is limited and subject to availability.
- If you have purchased a VIP package, the event promoter will be in contact with details regarding your experience.

TAEYANG is a South Korean singer, dancer, and songwriter, best known as a member of the iconic K-pop group BIGBANG. Renowned for his smooth vocals and charismatic stage presence, Taeyang debuted as a solo artist in 2008 with Hot, featuring hits like “Only Look at Me.” His blend of R&B, pop, and hip-hop has made him one of South Korea’s most respected solo artists.
In 2024, Taeyang released his highly anticipated album Solar Flare, marking a bold return to his R&B roots.
