Conditions of Entry: Guests should read and understand our Conditions of Entry prior to booking tickets and attending the event. John Cain Arena no longer offers cloaking so any prohibited items will need to be disposed of or returned to your vehicle prior to entry.

Bag Restrictions: Any item or bag that is too large to fit under a seat must not be brought into the Arena and a limit of one bag per person applies.

Pass Outs: Pass Outs are no longer available at John Cain Arena. You will not be permitted re-entry if you leave the venue before the end of the game. John Cain Arena is now a smoke-free venue. Smoking is not permitted inside the venue, on the external concourses or on the Olympic Boulevard forecourt, including during half-time.

Parking: Parking at Melbourne Park is only available to guests who have pre-booked. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event. You will not be able to drive up without a booking.

Public Transport: John Cain Arena is accessible by tram, train and bus. The Arena is walking distance from Richmond Station and Flinders Street Station.


We've made some changes to the venue to keep you safe and you can help us by following the guidelines below.

  • Masks must be carried at all times and are recommended to be worn where you cannot keep 1.5 metres apart from others.
  • The venue is separated into zones, East and West. Your zone, designated gate and door to enter the venue is listed on your ticket. You must enter via your designated gate and door only.
  • All tickets are reserved seats. Guests must only sit in the seat allocated to them.
