The Gorillaz will follow up their 2022 Splendour in the Grass set with headline tour dates in Sydney and Melbourne.

A truly global phenomenon, Gorillaz have achieved success in entirely ground-breaking and unique ways, touring the world from San Diego to Syria, Montevideo to Manchester and winning numerous awards including the coveted Jim Henson Creativity Honor.

Gorillaz made an emotional return to the live stage last month with two sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena.

The performance on 10 August, to thank and recognise NHS frontline workers, saw the band debut all three new tracks from their new EP ‘Meanwhile’, the band’s joyous homage to the iconic Notting Hill Carnival.

And now the Carnival is heading down under! Don’t miss Gorillaz’ first Australian dates in over a decade!

About The gorillaz

Dave Bayley, Ed Irwin-Singer (bass), Drew MacFarlane (guitar) and Joe Seaward (drums) released their first album, Zaba, in 2014, on Paul Epworth’s Wolf Tone label.

It was a modest debut (“We thought we’d go back to our jobs,” Bayley says) until the stealthily addictive Gooey became a platinum-certified viral streaming hit.

They have since notched up over two billion streams, appeared on James Corden and Jimmy Kimmel, and toured the world to strikingly diverse audiences, from Glastonbury to Primavera and Red Rocks to Coachella.
