Constellation Cup

It’s the cross Tasman rivalry we love to witness with the Diamonds taking on the Silver Ferns in this year’s Constellation Cup.

The 2021 Constellation Cup saw all four games take place in New Zealand, with the Silver Ferns clinching the series for the first time since 2012.

The Australian Diamonds will be out to turn the tables during this year’s four game series.

The rivalry between the Diamonds and Silver Ferns is one of the world’s most historic, respected, and intense sporting rivalries, producing some of the most thrilling and nail-biting encounters, with the two countries having battled each other for netball supremacy since 1938.

About the Constellation Cup

A competition that’s been part of netball’s history since 20 August 1938. A longstanding and intense rivalry that spans generations. For many, there is no bigger spectacle in the sport than when the Origin Australian Diamonds play the New Zealand Silver Ferns.

Every year, since 2012, this rivalry has culminated in the Constellation Cup – a four-game series between the two most storied teams in the sport.
